The Audit Subcommittee meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 120 Vista Avenue.  (The meeting will be broadcast on KCOM, videotaped and archived.)  Emails should be sent to the City Clerk at jtulloch@ci.piedmont.ca.us to be included in the official record.  Comments may also be mailed to: 120 Vista Avenue, Piedmont, CA 94611.

Based on the August 23rd meeting, the Subcommittee will prepare a Final Report to submit to the City Council.

In early 2010, The Piedmont City Council directed its Audit Subcommittee composed of Council members Dean Barbieri and John Chiang along with Judge Ken Kawaichi to examine the City’s handling of the construction of the Piedmont Hills Underground Assessment District. Concurrently, the Piedmont League of Women Voters formed its own committee to observe the Audit Subcommittee and review undergrounding issues.  The Piedmont Civic Association (PCA) also provided an extensive review of the issues raised by undergrounding.   On April 26 a forum was held by the League of Women Voters to discuss its findings and recommendations.
