Public Interviews of Applicants for City Positions
Council Interviews Commission and Committee Applicants-
A special City Council meeting will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room, 120 Vista Avenue.
The Council will interview applicants for the 21 positions open for appointment. Incumbents are not required to be present for an interview. Positions include Piedmont commissions and committees – Planning, Park, Recreation, Public Safety, Civil Service, CIP Review, and Budget and Finance. Names of the applicants were not provided by the public notice.
According to the Brown Act, both the interviews and final appointments must take place in public. Those interested in observing the proceedings may attend. An opportunity to address the Council at the beginning of the meeting is on the agenda.
