Check Out Candidate Information on Smart Voter Website

Piedmont voters interested in learning more about the candidates in the February 7th election can go to http://smartvoter.org/2012/02/07/ca/alm/ballot.html

Seven out of the eight Piedmont candidates running in this election have created web pages on Smart Voter with detailed information about their background, qualifications, top priorities, key endorsements and position papers in addition to their answers to questions on current issues asked by the League of Women Voters of Piedmont.

The web address for all the information on Smart Voter is: www.smartvoter.org.  However, to avoid clicking through a couple of pages for this election, voters can go straight to the webpage showing the February 7th Alameda County ballot races and the candidates for the Piedmont City Council and School Board at http://smartvoter.org/2012/02/07/ca/alm/ballot.html

Voters can then click on the candidates’ names to read the material they posted.

The League of Women Voters’ award-winning website provides federal, state, and local election information online.   Smart Voter provides informative content that would not otherwise be available to voters.  This  non-profit, non-partisan voter information service is offered  and managed by the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund.
