Sports Hall of Fame – Nominate Your Favorite Person!
Piedmont Sports Hall of Fame is looking for great athletes, coaches, boosters . . .
The Piedmont Sports Hall of Fame (PSHOF) announces that nominations for the Class of 2011-2012 are now open!
The public is invited to submit nominations for consideration between now and September 15, 2011. Former athletes, coaches, administrators and members of the community are eligible.
Criterion for induction are:
- ATHLETES: graduate of Piedmont High School; attended PHS at least two years; out of PHS for at least 5 years; excelled in athletics while a student at PHS; demonstrated integrity, character, citizenship, success, leadership and community involvement during high school and beyond
- COACHES: coached a sport at PHS; demonstration of integrity, character, citizenship,
success, leadership and community involvement during high school coaching career; no
longer coaching at PHS
- ADMINISTRATORS: served as an administrator in the Piedmont Unified School District; positive impact upon the PHS athletic program; demonstration of integrity, character, citizenship, success, leadership and community involvement during high school administrative career
- BOOSTERS/COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Resident of Piedmont for a significant number of years; demonstration of support for the PHS athletic program; positive impact upon the PHS athletic program
Please submit your nomination in writing, with any supporting documentation, to Randy Booker, Principal, Piedmont High School at 800 Magnolia Ave, Piedmont, CA 94611, or to rbooker@piedmont.k12.ca.us, by no later than September 15, 2011. All letters must be signed by the nominating individual to receive consideration.
The induction ceremony will take place in February 2012 on a date and at a location to be announced.
