Moraga Canyon Project Review by Rec Commission
On Wednesday, January 19th, the Piedmont Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on the Moraga Canyon Sports Fields Project at 7:30 PM in the Piedmont City Council Chambers, City Hall, 120 Vista Avenue.
The Piedmont City Council certified the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), on Dec. 6, 2010. At their meeting on January 19th, the Piedmont Recreation Commission will consider the following:
* Project design and elements identified in the FEIR
• Significant and unavoidable impacts identified in the FEIR
• Mitigation measures identified in the FEIR
• Environmentally Superior Alternative as proposed by preparers of FEIR
• Other project alternatives identified in the FEIR, as well as alternative concepts that may be proposed by the public or Commission.
